Acorus calamus Linn., The Sweet Flag

Acorus calamus Linn., Vacha in Sanskrit is amedicinal plant found commonly in India. The Sweet Flag, Acorus calamus Linn., isof the family Acoraceae. The plant has scented leaves and rhizhomes which havemedicinal values. Each part of the plant is used in many Ayurveda and alternative medicines.
